Our doctor at Advanced Pelvic Surgery, Dr. Owens, is an urogynecologist with more than 20 years of experience. He provides a full range of gynecologic and urologic services. Dr. Owens has specialized training in advanced minimally invasive surgery, allowing you to get the treatment you need with an easy process. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Shreveport and completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals in Houston. He completed his fellowship in urogynecology and pelvic reconstruction surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Owens has the experience, knowledge, and practice to provide the best possible services.
Our team at Advanced Pelvic Surgery cares about each and every one of our patients. We work hard to ensure you feel heard, comfortable, and cared for during every phase of the process, from the initial consultation to treatment and beyond. Our physicians are specialized in different areas and will work with you to diagnose your problem and find the treatment that’s best for you.
Along with all of our other services, we also offer pelvic floor physical therapy. We can use pelvic floor physical therapy to help relieve your pain, treat underlying problems, strengthen the pelvic floor before and after delivery surgery, reduce your need for medication and surgery, and more! Depending on the issues you may be facing, we can design a physical therapy plan that can benefit you in a number of ways.
Dr. Owens has special training in robotic surgeries, including minimally invasive techniques using the da Vinci® Surgical System. Robotic surgery allows for your operation to be as minimally invasive as possible. The robotic arms used in this type of surgery have a more extensive range of motion than a human wrist, making it easier to perform the surgery. There are many different procedures that can be completed through robotic surgery, including hysterectomy and prolapse repair.
No matter what type of procedure you need or what your pelvic issue may be, our team at Advanced Pelvic Surgery in West Chester can help! Learn more about our services and our practice and contact us to schedule an appointment.
